Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 13, 2026

Welcome to Outbrige. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Outbrige platform, operated by Outbrige Technologies Limited(“Outbrige,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a company registered in the Republic of Zambia. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use Outbrige. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Account Registration

  • You may register as a Business (posting campaigns and hiring influencers) or an Influencer (applying to campaigns and submitting content).
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Platform Use

For Businesses

  • You may post campaign briefs describing deliverables, platforms, timelines, and budgets.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your campaign details and for communicating expectations clearly to influencers.
  • You may review applications, message applicants, hire an influencer, and approve or request revisions on submitted content.

For Influencers

  • You may apply to campaigns, submit content, and communicate with businesses through the platform.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile information, including follower counts and social media links.
  • Submitted content must be original or properly licensed. You must not submit content that infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights.

4. Payments, Escrow & Fees

All payments between businesses and influencers must be made through Outbrige. You agree not to arrange or complete payment for platform-introduced work outside of Outbrige.

  • Payment processing. Payments are collected, held, and paid out through a licensed third-party payment service provider. Outbrige facilitates these transactions and is not a bank, deposit-taker, or money-services business.
  • Escrow. When a business funds a campaign or a deal, the amount is held securely (in escrow) and is released to the influencer only when the business approves the delivered work.
  • Funding first. A business must fund the agreed amount before work begins. Work is only ever performed against funds that are already secured.
  • Commission. Outbrige charges a commission of 10% on each completed payment, deducted from the amount released to the influencer. Commission is only charged on completed deals.
  • Processing fees. Our payment provider charges transaction fees on funding, payouts, and refunds. These fees may be added to the amount you fund or deducted as applicable, and are disclosed to you before you pay.
  • Payouts. Influencers are paid to a verified payout method they add. You are responsible for the accuracy of your payout details. A minimum deal amount may apply.
  • Currency & taxes. Amounts are handled in the supported local currency. You are responsible for any taxes arising from your use of the platform.

5. Hiring, Cancellations & Refunds

  • Hiring. When a business hires an influencer, this is a commitment to pay the agreed amount for the agreed work once the work is approved. On hiring, other applicants for that campaign are paused (they may be brought back if the hire does not proceed). A campaign is worked by one influencer at a time.
  • Deadlines. Influencers must deliver by the agreed deadline. We may send reminders. If an influencer does not deliver, the business may cancel the deal.
  • Cancellation by a business. A business may cancel a hire before the influencer submits final work. Once final work has been submitted, the business must either approve it or raise a dispute.
  • If an influencer withdraws. If an influencer cannot proceed after being hired, the campaign re-opens so the business can hire another influencer.
  • Refunds are not always 100%. When a deal is cancelled, the business is refunded the funded amount less any non-refundable payment-processing fees already incurred (our payment provider's collection and transfer fees cannot be recovered). This is disclosed to you at the time of funding. Outbrige does not charge its commission on refunded (uncompleted) deals.
  • Disputes. If the parties disagree, either may raise a dispute. Outbrige may, at its discretion, review the matter and determine how the held funds (and only the held funds) are handled. Outbrige is not obliged to act as an arbitrator of the underlying relationship.
  • Card chargebacks. Where a payment is made by card, the chargeback rules of our payment provider apply and may affect held or released funds.

6. Content, User-Generated Content & Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of any content you create and submit through the platform.
  • By submitting content to a campaign or deal, you grant the business a license to use that content as specified in the brief. You are responsible for ensuring the content is original or properly licensed and does not infringe any law or third-party right.
  • You grant Outbrige a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, and display your profile, campaign data, and submitted content for the purpose of operating and promoting the service.
  • Outbrige is a platform and is not the author of, and does not endorse, user-generated content.

7. Use of Artificial Intelligence

  • Outbrige uses AI features, for example to help draft campaign briefs, power search and recommendations, and assist with content. Information you enter may be processed by AI service providers in order to provide these features.
  • AI assistant (“Covie”). We provide an in-app AI assistant that answers questions, helps you navigate the platform, and helps you find creators or campaigns. When you use it, your messages are processed by AI systems to generate a response.
  • Search & matching. To power search, recommendations, and matching, information in your profile, campaigns, and public content may be converted into machine representations (“embeddings”) and stored and processed by our AI systems.
  • AI output is assistive and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving anything generated with AI before you rely on, use, or publish it.
  • AI-generated suggestions are not professional, legal, financial, or marketing advice, and we do not guarantee any outcome from them.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, follower counts, or any other information.
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
  • Submit spam, malware, or any harmful content.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise access the source code of the platform.
  • Scrape or collect data from the platform without our written consent.
  • Circumvent the platform to negotiate or transact directly with users you met through Outbrige.

9. Reviews & Ratings

Users may leave reviews and star ratings after a campaign is completed. Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on genuine experience. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms or our community guidelines.

10. Termination

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Outbrige shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Outbrige, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zambia, without regard to conflict of law principles. The courts of Zambia shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform.

15. Changes to These Terms
